The Weekender Cap is a baseball cap with a six-panel crown and adjustable back strap, in five head sizes

The Weekender Cap crown is sewn in six panels and decorated with top stitching.

The back of the cap is closed with an adjustable velcro band. The bottom of the cap is finished with a band.

Recommended Fabrics:

Medium-weight woven fabrics, such as: cotton drill, denim, canvas.

Required Notions:

  • Polyester Thread
  • Bias binding (12mm wide x 19cm)
  • Sew-in velcro (2cm wide x 6cm)
  • Medium-weight fusible interfacing (0.5 metres or 1/2 yard)
  • Material to stablilise peak – plastic stationary wallet recommended

Sewing Skills Gained:

  • Cut & sew millinery
  • Topstitching curved seams
  • Making a baseball cap
