A couple of pictures taken a few weeks ago in our local park. I don’t think I’ve ever shared any pictures of this matching Hello Kitty (Grainline Studio) set being worn together.
Back in 2023, we visited Japan and I bought a Hello Kitty quilted fabric from Tomato to make a Grainline Tamarack jacket. I made the jacket, with the hood expansion, and still had fabric left over, so decided to make a matching Grainline Moss Skirt.
I finished making the skirt in January 2025 so the details are bit woolly. I made a size 12 and originally found it too loose, so took some width out at the back seam (including the waistband) and also moved the front press stud over slightly, which worked ok for minimal effort.
I should wear both of these pieces, separately and together, more often, and am going to make an effort to do so while the weather is still chilly.
