Back in September, I had a short article about my knitted swimsuit included in Slipknot, the Knitting and Crochet Guild’s members magazine.
The magazine (like all roles in the Guild) is created by volunteers, so I was glad to be able to make a small contribution, and being the cover image was a nice surprise when the magazine arrived.
I contacted the editor in advance of submitting to check if they would be interested – and they motivated me to try swimming in the swimsuit sooner rather than later, so that I could comment on how the swimsuit fared in the water. They also snuck me into the magazine, despite me just missing the submission deadline!
